About Club Vallelonga-Monserrato
Club Vallelonga Monserrato was established in 1968 as a social club for those who emigrated from the town of Vallelonga in Calabria Italy. Throughout the years the Club has celebrated social, religious and cultural activities in keeping with the Vallelonghese traditions. The Vallelonghese community embraced the club. Entire families – grandparents, parents and children – attended the social and religious events organized by the club.
This year Club Vallelonga Monserrato will be celebrating its 56th year. The continued existence of the club is largely due to the passion of its volunteers who have dedicated their time and knowledge in the promotion of the Vallelonghese culture.
The Vallelonghese community is encouraged to participate by attending one or more of the upcoming activities and come together with family and friends to celebrate our heritage.
Club Vallelonga Monserrato could not thrive and succeed for 56 years without the continued commitment and involvement of its members. By renewing your membership and inviting others to get involved, the Vallelonghese community can maintain the culture that you and your parents brought here to Canada; a legacy that we can share with our children.
